Arthur is a very ordinary brown dog in Mrs Humber’s pet shop. All the other pets find homes, but nobody wants Arthur. So he tries to be a rabbit, a snake, a fish . . . in fact anything that is popular, so he can have a home with a pair of old slippers to chew.
Arthur is a lovable character who, for over 30 years, has captured the hearts of readers all over the world.
